The Keeper Gets Interviewed

October 24, 2014

I am celebrating a BANNER week, people.

Huge.

Epic.

It’s one of those “doesn’t come round often” kinds of weeks, I tell you.

You might want to sit down for this:  I was interviewed not once, but TWICE, this week.

Yep.  TWICE.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Two separate bloggers emailed me questions that they A). actually wanted me to answer and B).  cut and pasted into their own blogs even after they read my answers.

It’s almost too much excitement for one random week in October.

A full on Fruit Loop Invasion.

The first interview was done by my one of my blogging besties, Jen, of Real Life Parenting.  It’s a hard hitting, journalistic look at the amazing Thanksgiving Project that Jill Smokler from Scary Mommy is putting together with the help of 36 bloggers and YOURS TRULY:

Buy the book = Help A Family Eat Thanksgiving Dinner.

I, along with my buddies Foxy Wine Pocket and Questionable Choices in Parenting, answered Jen’s intense, Barbara Walters style questions with absolutely zero professionalism.  Really, we did.  And not ONE of us offered to send inappropriate pictures to her to increase blog traffic.  I SWEAR.  Ahem.

While we did clown around a little  a lot, we are serious as a heart attack about lending our names, blogs and efforts into Jill’s Herculean undertaking.  ALL author profits will go DIRECTLY to the Scary Mommy Nation Thanksgiving Project.  And we are so very excited to be a part of this worthy cause.

Jen’s blog, “Getting Questionable With Foxy Fruit Loops”  will make you laugh.  And cry.  And want sexy sugar cereal with questionable expiration dates.   Go read it and then go buy “Scary Mommy’s Guide To Surviving The Holidays“.  Because doing so will help a family eat Thanksgiving dinner this year.  Uh, why are you still on this page?  You are one click away from doing a good deed……

My SECOND interview this week  from Abby from Abby Has Issues.  She graciously offered to let me invade her blog with my ridiculous musings on Ebola, Kardashians, candy corn, and being able to write backwards fluently.  Now that I’m writing this, I’m realizing there’s probably a reason I don’t get invited to other people’s blogs all that often……

Go check out “Christine from Keeper of The Fruit Loops Has Issues and A Giveaway” to see how thoroughly I embarrassed myself at someone else’s house….you can’t take me anywhere….

Many thanks to Jen and Abby for putting up with my shenanigans this week.  Please go thank them on my behalf because manners matter…….and because I managed to embarrass myself twice this week in the name of pleasing my fans.

    1. If by “busy schedule” you mean “the only time I’ve ever been interviewed and it happened twice in one week”, my pleasure!
